Other DC mats have a double digit failure rates due to poor design & quality control of their product. At Cellion, we try our best to eliminate defective products before it is handed to the customers through rigorous testing procedures and constant improvements in our design. We are happy to say that around 97% of our products are free-from-defects. However, like all other electronics, defects can still occur to the very unlucky minority. If that happens to you, please notify us as soon as possible for support.

Our controller comes with a self-diagnosis technology and is able to identify fault by itself through codes.
Here are meaning of each code:
E1 - General Malfunction of the mat. Contact Cellion.au for further assistance.
E2 - Abnormality of the heating function of the mat. Stop use immediately and Cellion.au for further assistance.

The differences between Cellion heating mat and regular electric mat are as follows:
Generation of Electromagnetic Waves: Regular electric mats use heating wires to generate heat which produces harmful electromagnetic waves. In contrast, Cellion heating mats use technology that is completely free from electromagnetic waves.
Voltage and Safety: Regular electric mats use 220V and can cause electric shocks. Users may experience a tingling sensation or feel their mat vibrating, hear static electricity, or feel dryness after sleeping, even when using mats marketed as safe from electromagnetic radiation. On the other hand, Cellion heating mats use low voltage technology (less than 30V) that eliminates the risk of electric shock, and they also have additional safety circuits to prevent fire.
Durability and Washing: Regular electric mats are less durable and difficult to wash and store compared to Cellion heating mats, which use high-quality materials and are machine washable, easy to store, and maintain their quality over a long period of time.
Price: Cellion heating mats are more expensive than regular electric mats, but in the long run, they are more economical, safe, and convenient to use.

Firstly, let's compare the hot water mat and the electric heating mat.
The reason why the hot water mat has been so popular in recent years is because it does not emit electromagnetic waves. In fact, there are considerable amount of electromagnetic waves generated in the boiler system as water pumps into the mat.
Nonetheless, based on the premise that the hot water mat has a lower level of electromagnetic waves than the general electric mat/heating pad, it has become a popular heating item.
However, the hot water mat has various disadvantages other than having low electromagnetic waves.
You have to put water in it and refill it regularly.
You have to remove all the water after use. (Those who have drained the water will know how inconvenient this is)
Water is not completely removed from the inside of the hot water mat, and moisture and humidity remain. (This is a condition where various bacteria and mold can breed inside the mat throughout the summer)
It is inconvenient to store because it cannot be folded.
Most of all, the biggest inconvenience is the product's performance deterioration. Those who have used a hot water mat will feel that the product's warmth decreases and the noise increases little by little after 2-3 years.
The method of heating water and circulating it with a motor causes water contamination, which reduces the motor's performance.
As a result, the heat output continuously decreases, and after 3-4 years of use, a situation arises where you have to purchase a high-priced product again.
Products that are used like boilers without motors produces unpleasant noise. (Grrrrr....)
What if there was an electric mat without electromagnetic waves? If it was light and cozy and used an ARAMID core heating element with extreme durability, we wouldn't need to put up with such inconvenience and use a hot water mat.

Firstly, please clean the product thoroughly.
Disconnect the controller from the connector.
Fold the product and put it in the included cloth bag. Put the controller in the dedicated pouch and store it in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture.
When storing the mat, fold it in the same way it was received to fit it properly in the storage bag.
To use the product again, attach the controller to the connector and use it as before.
